Specialized On-Site Support Team

The Specialized On-Site Support (SOS) Team is a service designed to support district/building staff who work with students with significant academic and behavioral needs. The SOS Team will help build the capacity of teachers, counselors and administrators who are tasked with developing programs for students needing intense individualized academic and behavioral supports by providing comprehensive, integrated professional development.

The SOS Team is made up of highly qualified professionals, including:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Instructional Coach
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW, SSW)
  • English Learner Specialist)
  • Administrator Coach

We collaborate with your building/district teams to reflect on your needs and build a plan outlining how identified skills can be learned and implemented in your district. Whether your intentions are to promote general program development for new staff, address emergent crisis situations, address your district’s annual special education profile findings, support your school’s continuous improvement plan, or offer resources for difficult situations involving parents, advocates and attorneys – this team will help all staff and IEP teams develop high-quality, evidence-based practices and support ongoing implementation of evidence-based practices.

Our services can be customized to your needs. We’ll provide a detailed Capacity Building Plan for documentation of your proactive efforts in designing the services that you provide.
