PBL Immersion: Tuning Protocol @ Yellow Springs Schools

Want to see a K-12 district fully immersed in PBL? For those considering PBL 101 training or have taken PBL 101 and want to see PBL in action, this is for you. This is an opportunity to see teachers and students working in different stages of PBL and to meet with the school superintendent, Mario Basora and his building principals to learn more about their journey. Your visit will include building visits to the elementary and MS/HS buildings. Visits might include opportunities in which you can observe teachers using a Tuning Protocol to revise and refine their project design and/or to engage with students and their teachers as they are putting the final touches on their PBL projects for Exhibition Night. Each visit ends with a Student Panel Q/A session. Plan to begin your day at the Mills Lawn ES, 200 S. Walnut St., Yellow Springs, OH 45387. 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Lunch is provided. . Participants attending two days of PBL Immersion visits at both Dayton Regional STEM School and Yellow Springs may enroll for a 1-hour Ashland graduate credit option for an additional $249.
